Overview
Per a conversation on April 17, 2019, with a PLRB staff member, Shelli Krueth (City Clerk) confirmed the City of Kelliher has not adopted the MN State Building Code.
The city of Kelliher MN does have the authority to issue zoning permits under its Zoning Ordinance. See Chapter 7 (Zoning). Under § 75.02 (Zoning Permit), these permits are to be issued for "the construction, reconstruction and major remodeling of any structure." Per Ms. Krueth, inspections can be arranged or done by members of City's Planning and Zoning Commission or by the City's Public Works Department.
